First transmission

stardate August 16, 2026metahello-world

Placeholder transmission. This is a scaffold post so the Logbook isn’t an empty room. Delete it whenever the first real entry is ready — nothing else depends on it.

Systems are nominal. The reactor hums, the antenna is warm, and somewhere below, a small monotreme in a very large helmet is looking out the window at a field of static that turned out to be stars.

There’s nothing to report yet — which is, itself, the report. The point of a logbook is that it exists before you have anything important to say, so that when you do, there’s already a place to say it. Consider this the empty first page: dated, filed, and waiting.

What lives here

The Logbook is for transmissions — short dispatches from orbit. Dev notes, half-formed ideas, doodles, the occasional warble into the void. Longer or more finished things (code, research, the serious cargo) will get their own hold on the ship later; this is the casual channel.

How to add one

Drop a Markdown file in src/content/logbook/. Give it a title, a stardate, and a one-line summary, and it shows up here automatically, newest first. Mark it draft: true to keep it grounded until it’s ready to fly.

Over and out. 🛰️
